Method
- Chill your glasses in the freezer for 15-20 minutes.
- In a shaker with ice, combine the cranberry juice, orange liqueur, and vodka (if using).
- Shake well until chilled.
- Strain the mixture into your chilled glasses filled with ice.
- Gently top each glass with Prosecco.
- Garnish with fresh cranberries, orange slices, and rosemary sprigs (if using).
- For the Rudolph Nose: Carefully thread a maraschino cherry onto a toothpick and place it on the rim of the glass.
Notes
Control sweetness by adjusting orange liqueur or cranberry juice. For a mocktail, replace Prosecco with sparkling white grape juice or club soda, orange liqueur with orange juice, and omit the vodka. To batch, multiply ingredients, combine all except Prosecco in advance, and add Prosecco just before serving. Add cinnamon or nutmeg for a warmer flavor. Infuse cranberry juice with rosemary or add gingerbread spice for variations. Pairs well with cheese boards, mini quiches, gingerbread cookies, or chocolate-covered strawberries. Store any leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator, but note the Prosecco will lose its fizz.
