Irresistible 3-Ingredient Fudge

This recipe makes incredibly easy and delicious fudge with only three ingredients. It's intensely chocolatey, melt-in-your-mouth smooth, and requires minimal effort, making it a perfect treat for any occasion.

Ingredients
  

  • 14 oz Sweetened Condensed Milk
  • 12 oz Chocolate Chips semi-sweet, milk chocolate, or dark chocolate
  • 1 tsp Vanilla Extract

  • Parchment paper
  • Medium-sized microwave-safe bowl
  • Spatula
  • Measuring cups

  • Plastic wrap

Method
 

  1. Line an 8x8 inch square baking pan with parchment paper, leaving some overhang on the sides.
  2. In a medium-sized, microwave-safe bowl, combine the sweetened condensed milk and chocolate chips.
  3. Microwave on 50% power in 30-second intervals, stirring well after each interval, until the chocolate is completely melted and smooth.
  4. Once melted, remove the bowl from the microwave and stir in the vanilla extract.
  5. Pour the melted fudge mixture into the prepared pan and spread it evenly with a spatula.
  6. Cover the pan with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 2 hours, or preferably overnight, to allow the fudge to set completely.
  7. Once the fudge is firm, lift it out of the pan using the parchment paper overhang.
  8. Cut it into squares and serve.

Notes

Store in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 1 week, in the refrigerator for up to 2 weeks, or in the freezer for up to 2 months (wrapped tightly in plastic wrap and then in a freezer-safe bag). For variations, try swirling in melted peanut butter, adding peppermint extract and chopped Andes mints, crushing Oreo cookies into the mixture, drizzling with caramel sauce and sea salt, or adding chopped nuts.
