  • 1/4 cup festive sprinkles red, green, and white
  • 1/4 cup edible glitter
  • 1/4 cup dried cranberries optional
  • 1/4 cup unsalted sunflower seeds optional
  • 1/4 cup crushed pretzels optional

Method
 

  1. In a medium-sized bowl, combine the rolled oats, festive sprinkles, and edible glitter.
  2. If using, add the dried cranberries, sunflower seeds, and crushed pretzels to the bowl.
  3. Gently stir all the ingredients together until everything is evenly distributed.
  4. Spoon the Reindeer Food into small bags or containers.
  5. Attach a tag with a special message.

Notes

For a bland mix, add more sprinkles, cinnamon, or nutmeg. Ensure edible glitter is used and mixed in last for maximum sparkle. This is safe to eat, but is intended for the reindeer. Store in an airtight container or bag. Consider adding jingle bells or miniature ornaments for extra presentation.
