Method
- Fill your glasses with ice.
- Slowly pour the grenadine into the bottom of each glass.
- Gently pour the blue curaçao syrup over the back of a spoon, letting it slowly cascade into the glass on top of the grenadine.
- Again, using the back of a spoon to minimize mixing, slowly pour the pineapple juice over the blue curaçao layer.
- Top off each glass with lemon-lime soda. Pour slowly to maintain the layers, but a little mixing at this stage is okay.
- Add gummy worms, Halloween candies, or any other spooky garnishes you like.
- If you're using dry ice, add a small piece to each glass just before serving. Remember, never touch dry ice with bare hands, and never consume it directly!
Notes
Chill your ingredients before starting. Pour slowly over the back of a spoon to maintain layers. If you can't find blue curaçao, use another blue-colored syrup or food coloring. This recipe is naturally non-alcoholic. For variations, consider adding tequila for a Beetlejuice Margarita, sparkling wine for a celebratory version, or blending with ice for a frozen slushie. Handle dry ice with extreme caution: never touch with bare hands, use in a well-ventilated area, and never consume.
