Ultimate shake cake

What do you get when you take a store-bought pancake mix, add Caramilk chips, condensed milk and Custard Cream biscuits, shake then bake? The best-ever easy hack cake.

5 Ingredients


  • 350g bottle Original Pancake Shake

  • 150ml sweetened condensed milk

  • 100g Cadbury Caramilk baking chips, plus extra, to serve

  • 8 custard cream biscuits

  • Vanilla ice-cream, to serve

4 Method Steps


  • Step 1

    Preheat an oven to 190C/170C fan forced. Grease an 18 x 26cm slice pan. Line with baking paper.

  • Step 2

    Pour 250ml water, the condensed milk

    (150ml sweetened condensed milk) and the Caramilk chips (100g Cadbury Caramilk baking chips, plus extra, to serve) into the pancake shake bottle (350g bottle Original Pancake Shake). Shake to combine.


  • Step 3

    Pour mixture into the prepared pan. Arrange biscuits (8 custard cream biscuits) over top of mixture, gently pressing to secure. Bake for 25-30 minutes or until a skewer inserted into the centre comes out clean.

  • Step 4

    Serve warm with vanilla ice-cream (Vanilla ice-cream, to serve). Sprinkle with extra Caramilk chips.
