Turkey, cranberry and brie sausage roll bags

Everything you love about Christmas – turkey, cranberry sauce, cheese and sausage rolls – all rolled up into bite-sized puff pastry parcels.

10 Ingredients

  • 400g turkey breast mince

  • 1 tbsp cranberry sauce

  • 1 tbsp chopped dried cranberries

  • 1 tbsp chopped fresh sage

  • 1 tbsp chopped fresh chives

  • 2 garlic cloves, crushed

  • 3 sheets frozen puff pastry, partially thawed

  • 100g brie, cut into 16 equal pieces

  • 1 egg, lightly beaten

  • Extra cranberry sauce, to serve

  • Step 1

    Preheat oven to 220C/200C fan-forced. Line 2 baking trays with baking paper.

    (400g turkey breast mince), cranberry sauce (1 tbsp cranberry sauce), cranberries (1 tbsp chopped dried cranberries), sage (1 tbsp chopped fresh sage), chives (1 tbsp chopped fresh chives) and garlic (2 garlic cloves, crushed) in a bowl. Season with salt and pepper. Mix well to combine.

  • Step 3

    Cut each sheet of pastry (3 sheets frozen puff pastry, partially thawed) into 4 equal squares. Shape 1 1/2 tablespoons of mince mixture into a disc. Place 1 piece of brie (100g brie, cut into 16 equal pieces) in centre. Shape mince around brie to enclose. Place on centre of 1 pastry square. Brush edges of pastry with egg (1 egg, lightly beaten). Fold up sides to form a pouch, pinching to enclose filling. Repeat with remaining pastry, mince mixture, brie and egg. Place on prepared trays.

  • Step 4

    Brush pastry with egg. Bake for 20 minutes or until golden and puffed. Stand for 2 to 3 minutes. Serve with extra cranberry sauce (Extra cranberry sauce, to serve).
