Want to make pizza dough without yeast? This easy dough recipe uses self-raising flour, baking powder and Greek yoghurt, and is topped with delicious pepperoni, tomato and basil.

10 Ingredients

  • 160ml (2/3 cup) tomato pasta sauce

  • 150g (1 1/2 cups) pizza cheese

  • 100g sliced pepperoni

  • 8 cherry tomatoes, halved

  • Fresh basil leaves, to serve
  • No yeast pizza dough

  • 225g (1 1/2 cups) self-raising flour, plus extra, to dust

  • 1 1/2 tsp baking powder

  • 1/4 tsp sea salt flakes, crumbled

  • 200g tub Greek-style natural yoghurt

  • 1 tbsp extra virgin olive oil

4 Method Steps

  • Step 1

For the dough, place the flour, baking powder and sea salt in a large bowl. Make a well in the centre. Add the yoghurt and oil. Mix to form a soft dough. Turn the dough out onto a lightly floured surface. Knead for 1 minute or until smooth. Divide dough into 2 even portions. Use a rolling pin to roll each portion into a 25cm round.

  • Step 2

Preheat the oven to 220C/200C fan-forced. Place 2 baking trays in the oven for 5 minutes to heat.

  • Step 3

Place the pizza bases on baking paper. Spread each base with the pasta sauce and sprinkle with half of the pizza cheese. Top with pepperoni, tomato and remaining cheese.

  • Step 4

Use the baking paper to transfer pizzas to the baking trays. Bake for 20 minutes or until the bases are golden and cheese is melted. Serve scattered with basil leaves.
