Lean brekkie smoothie

This smoothie recipe is fruity, fresh and creamy. Loaded with good fats and fibre from avocado and protein from chia seeds and protein powder, this one will actually keep you full until lunch. Plus, it’s quick, easy, low-cal and gluten-free.

  • 1 kiwifruit, peeled, chopped

  • 1 frozen chopped banana

  • 1/4 avocado, chopped

  • 25g plain unsweetened protein powder

  • 20g baby spinach

  • 2 tsp chia seeds

  • 250ml (1 cup) chilled water

  • 1 passionfruit, halved

    (1 kiwifruit, peeled, chopped), banana (1 frozen chopped banana), avocado (1/4 avocado, chopped), protein powder (25g plain unsweetened protein powder), spinach (20g baby spinach), chia seeds (2 tsp chia seeds) and water (250ml (1 cup) chilled water) in a blender. Blend until smooth. Pour into a serving glass. Scoop out passionfruit (1 passionfruit, halved) pulp and spoon onto smoothie.
