Greek-style lamb ‘nachos’

Turn leftover slow-cooked Mediterranean lamb into these Greek-inspired nachos for a quick dinner ready in just 10 minutes.

7 Ingredients


  • 1/2 batch slow-cooked Mediterranean lamb (see notes for recipe)

  • 2 x 120g pkts pita crisps

  • 120g (1 1/2 cups) grated 3 cheese blend

  • 100g feta, crumbled

  • 1 fresh tomato, finely chopped

  • Tzatziki, to serve

  • Fresh mint leaves, to serve

3 Method Steps


  • Step 1

    Place the lamb in a microwave-safe bowl. Pour over 185ml (3/4 cup) water. Microwave for 4 minutes or until warm. Stir. Use two forks to shred the lamb.

  • Step 2

    Preheat grill to high. Place the pita in the base of a shallow heatproof dish. Top with the lamb and cheeses. Place under the grill for 4 minutes or until the cheese is melted and golden.

  • Step 3

    Serve scattered with tomato, dolloped with tzatziki and sprinkled with mint leaves.
