Easy homemade garlic butter

Homemade garlic butter is super easy to make and can be used in so many recipes. We love using ours on garlic bread, melted on steak and chops or just spread on fresh crusty bread.

  • 125g butter, chopped, at room temperature

  • 2 garlic cloves, crushed

  • 1 tbsp chopped fresh rosemary leaves

    (125g butter, chopped, at room temperature) in a small bowl. Use a fork to mash. Add garlic (2 garlic cloves, crushed) and rosemary (1 tbsp chopped fresh rosemary leaves) and stir until combined.

  • Step 2

    Place butter on a small piece of baking paper and shape into a log about 12cm long. Wrap log in baking paper. Place in the fridge to chill until firm. Cut into 12 slices.

Recipe Notes

Leftover garlic butter will keep in the fridge for up to 3 days. To freeze, cut into slices then place in a sealable plastic bag before placing in the freezer.
