Crispy taco cones

This easy tortilla hack means nothing’s falling out the bottom of your tacos! Stuff with your fave taco fillings like mince, cheese and fresh veg – mess-free Mexican for the win!

1 Ingredients


  • 4 flour tortillas

3 Method Steps


  • Step 1

    Preheat oven to 180C/160C fan forced. Lightly grease a baking tray. Fold 1 tortilla in half then roll up to form a cone. Use a toothpicks to secure along the join. Repeat with remaining tortillas. Place, seam-side down, on a baking tray lined with baking paper.

  • Step 2

    Scrunch pieces of foil and place in cones to help keep the shape. Spray with oil and bake for 12 minutes, turning once or twice during cooking, until golden. Transfer to a wire rack to cool.

  • Step 3

    Stuff with taco fillings of your choice, such as spicy beef or beans, lettuce, coriander, sour cream, cheese, tomato and avocado. Serve immediately.
