Caramilk espresso martini

We’ve taken our obsession with Caramilk to a whole new level and paired it with an espresso martini, our fave cocktail. The chocolate mixture adds a wonderfully creamy and rich texture to this classic!

7 Ingredients


  • 160ml (2/3 cup) thickened cream

  • 2 x 45g Caramilk chocolate bars, chopped

  • 60ml (1/4 cup) hot espresso coffee

  • 2 tbsp Kahlua liqueur

  • 60ml (1/4 cup) vodka

  • 8 ice cubes

  • 6 Caramilk chocolate chips or coffee beans

4 Method Steps


  • Step 1

    Place cream

    (160ml (2/3 cup) thickened cream) and Caramilk (2 x 45g Caramilk chocolate bars, chopped) in a heatproof jug. Microwave on High (100%) for 1 to 2 minutes or until Caramilk has melted. Stir until smooth and combined. Place in the fridge for 10 minutes to cool.


  • Step 2

    Combine the espresso (60ml (1/4 cup) hot espresso coffee), Kahlua (2 tbsp Kahlua liqueur) and vodka (60ml (1/4 cup) vodka) in a small jug. Divide espresso mixture between 2 martini glasses.

  • Step 3

    Place the ice (8 ice cubes) in a cocktail shaker. Add Caramilk (6 Caramilk chocolate chips or coffee beans) mixture and shake until frothy.

  • Step 4

    Gently pour Caramilk mixture over espresso mixture in glasses. Top with Caramilk chocolate chips or coffee beans. Serve immediately (see note).

Recipe Notes

Martini needs to be stirred before drinking as the alcohol needs to mix with the Caramilk mixture.
