You need only four ingredients to whip up these homemade choc tops ice-cream starring everyone’s favourite Cadbury chocolate: Caramilk.
8 scoops vanilla ice-cream
8 small flat-based ice-cream cones
180g Caramilk chocolate, chopped
3 tbsp coconut oil (make sure they are level, if solid)
3 Method Steps
Step 1Scoop ice-cream into cones and return to the freezer for 20 minutes or until the ice cream firms up and adheres to the cones.
Step 2Meanwhile, combine the chocolate and coconut oil in a microwave-safe bowl. Cook, stirring occasionally, on high for 60 to 90 seconds or until melted and smooth but not hot. Set aside to cool to room temperature (the mixture should be runny but not warm).
Step 3Transfer to a cup or small bowl. Carefully dip a cone into the chocolate mixture to coat the ice cream. Quickly return to the freezer and repeat with remaining cones. Freeze for 10 minutes, until firm.
