Bread-free bacon and egg sliders

Recipe may contain sesame, egg and lactose.

An easy, quick gluten-free breakfast or snack, this 6-ingredient slider is great for kids, work, or a post-workout snack.

6 Ingredients

  • 6 streaky bacon rashers

  • 6 eggs, hard-boiled

  • 1 large tomato, cut into slices

  • Handful of cos lettuce, broken into single leaves

  • 2 tablespoons of mayonnaise

  • Black sesame seeds, to serve

  • Step 1

    Cook streaky bacon rashers

    (6 streaky bacon rashers) in a frying pan until crisp. Cut each piece in half crossways.

  • Step 2

    Cut hard-boiled eggs (6 eggs, hard-boiled) in half lengthways. Top 1 half of each egg with a piece of bacon, a small piece of baby cos lettuce (Handful of cos lettuce, broken into single leaves), a slice of tomato (1 large tomato, cut into slices) and another piece of bacon. Spread with a little mayonnaise (2 tablespoons of mayonnaise).

  • Step 3

    Place remaining egg halves on top. Sprinkle with black sesame seeds (Black sesame seeds, to serve), season and serve.
