Lightly charred with a delicious tandoor flavour, it’s hard to believe that this chicken dinner is cooked in the air fryer! To pack an extra punch of flavour, you can marinade the chicken up to 1 day beforehand.
8 chicken drumsticks
260g (1 cup) natural yoghurt
155g (1/2 cup) tandoori paste
Vegetable oil, to grease

Step 1Cut 2 deep slits into the thickest part of each drumstick(8 chicken drumsticks). Combine the yoghurt (260g (1 cup) natural yoghurt) and tandoori paste (155g (1/2 cup) tandoori paste) in a large bowl. Add the drumsticks. Toss to coat evenly. Cover and place in the fridge for 30 minutes to marinate.

Step 2Preheat air fryer at 180C for 5 minutes. Brush the base of the air fryer basket with oil (Vegetable oil, to grease) to grease. Place 4 drumsticks into the basket, slit side down, and cook for 10 minutes.
Step 3Turn drumsticks over and cook for a further 5 minutes or until cooked through. Transfer to a plate and cover with foil to keep warm. Repeat with the remaining drumsticks.
These are delicious served with steamed basmati rice and a tomato and cucumber salad. You can marinate the chicken up to 1 day head.
