Air fryer crackling chips (with bacon salt)

Goodbye potato chips and hello pork crackling chips! Cooked in our favourite appliance, the air fryer, and served with apple sauce, these crispy morsels are salty, bacon-y and totally addictive (don’t say we didn’t warn you!). This recipe does require overnight refrigeration so make sure you start it the day before serving.

3 Ingredients

  • 750g piece pork rind (crackling)

  • 2 tsp Deliciou Original Bacon Flavoured Seasoning, plus extra, to serve

  • Apple sauce, to serve (optional)

3 Method Steps

  • Step 1

    Cut the rind
    (750g piece pork rind (crackling))
crossways into 1.5cm-thick strips. Line a baking tray with baking paper. Place the rind, rind-side up, on the tray. Place in the fridge overnight to dry out.

  • Step 2

Spray with rind with oil and sprinkle with the bacon seasoning
(2 tsp Deliciou Original Bacon Flavoured Seasoning, plus extra, to serve)

  • Step 3

Place half the rind in air fryer basket. Spray with oil. Cook at 200C for 10-15 minutes or until bubbled and golden. Transfer to a bowl. Sprinkle with extra bacon seasoning. Repeat with remaining rind. Serve with apple sauce
    (Apple sauce, to serve (optional))
    , if using.
